. I would totally read the hell out of that; I adore YA with any kind of fantasy elements.
And it's funny, too, because I'm working on something in roughly the same genre--about a girl who ran afoul of an actual witch during the Salem Witch Trials, and was cursed centuries ago. It's a contemporary YA love story with a bit of magic and mystery thrown in. I've been fiddling with if for the last several months or so but have basically only managed to solidify the outline and write the prologue because it's going to take way more time for research than I can currently devote to it (it has flashbacks throughout several different generations and locations). And I've got a couple of romantic thrillers tucked away in my drawer from several years ago when I used to be obsessed with them, but I haven't worked on anything like that in a long time.
And, hey, drarry is a great priority! Lol. If nothing else, it helps sharpen writing skills. (Plus the rest of us get to read delicious slash fic.)
Do you write for a living?
